A cordial welcome to all attendees and participants of the 5th European Congress on Haematology and Blood Disorders in the famous art City of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain organized by the Coalesce Research Group, Greenville, SC, USA in 2026. The previous 4 congresses were met by different groups enthusiastic of scientists from all over the world sharing their professional science on diagnostic, therapeutic and hereditary aspects of blood disorders, but also on the epidemiology of these disorders, physical, metabolic, morphologic and genetic characteristics, haematological patterns, and various clinical expressions. Among the past presentations were several innovative presentations of science contributing to the scientific progress of the field, exploring new and broader horizons e.g., of coagulation and fibrinolysis. The Organizing Committee looks eagerly forward to welcome a large representation of global scientists in Barcelona, the city of art (e.g., Gaudi, Picasso, Miro) and share even more interesting and innovative aspects of hematology and blood disorders during and in between the carefully programmed sessions.
The 4th European Congress on Hematology and Blood Disorders was successfully held on September 29-30, 2025, at Vienna, Austria, gathering an impressive array of global experts, researchers, healthcare professionals, and industry leaders to discuss the latest trends and innovations in Blood Disorders. Under the theme, “Hematology Evolution: Translating Discovery into Therapeutic Excellence”, the conference provided a platform for comprehensive discussions on cutting-edge advancements, clinical practices, and research breakthroughs in Hematology and Blood Disorders. The event attracted participants from more than 15 countries, including renowned speakers, business delegates, and a vibrant community of students, all dedicated to enhancing Hematology.
The conference commenced with a grand opening ceremony, followed by Keynote Sessions featuring presentations from distinguished speakers who shared their insights on various aspects of Hematology and Blood Disorders. The two-day event included a series of Oral and Poster presentations, where participants presented their latest research findings, fostering lively discussions on critical topics such as Hematology, Leukemia and Blood Cancer, Hemoglobinopathies, and Blood cancer.
